Learn the engineering principles behind Australia's most successful mobile games through hands-on projects and real-world case studies
Get Program DetailsProject-Based Learning That Actually Works
We don't teach theory in isolation. Every concept you learn gets applied immediately in real game projects. You'll build actual mobile games that demonstrate each architectural pattern.
- Start with simple 2D mechanics, progress to complex 3D systems
- Learn through building - not just watching tutorials
- Debug real performance issues in mobile environments
- Work with actual game studio codebases (anonymized)
- Present your projects to industry professionals
Meet Your Instructors

Your Learning Journey
The program runs for 16 weeks, with each phase building on practical skills you'll use immediately in your projects.
Weeks 1-4: Foundation Architecture
Master design patterns through building a complete 2D puzzle game. Learn MVC, Observer, and State patterns in Unity.
Weeks 5-8: Performance & Optimization
Debug real performance bottlenecks in mobile games. Profile memory usage, optimize rendering, and handle device limitations.
Weeks 9-12: Scalable Systems
Build multiplayer features, implement save systems, and create modular code that can grow with your game.
Weeks 13-16: Portfolio Project
Create your capstone mobile game that demonstrates everything you've learned. Present to a panel of industry professionals.
Next Cohort Starts September 2025
Applications open in June 2025. We're looking for developers with basic programming experience who want to specialize in mobile game architecture. Previous game development experience helpful but not required.
